I believe there is a Build-A-Bear in Downtown Disney. Is there anything different there that we can't find anywhere else. My kids love that place. We're looking for anything that might say Disneyland on it. Or special bears only found there.
TIA,
Pippi

When we were there back in December they had a Minnie Mouse and they have character costumes and Disneyland T-shirts for the Bears.

Some of the character costumes are not exclusive to this location, even though they will tell you they are. I hadn't been to a BAB in a while, so my girls picked out princess costumes, come to find out they were in our local BAB as well. It was a fun souvenir for them anyway. They also have t-shirts with California and Los Angeles on them. My girls also loved the DL T-shirts with the Mickey Ear Hats and Hands. It can get very crowded there, so I would recommend to go early in the day. It's fun!

We notice a few disney costumes that they do not have in our Build A Bear where we live. My son picked up some cute disney pajamas for his bear that they didn't have here, also they had a Stitch costume which we had not seen at our local store.

My DD loves BABW, so we go there everytime we go! She is quite the BAB collector now! The one in DTD is really nice because it is a lot bigger than the ones in our local malls. They don't have any exclusive animals, but they do have a large selection of Disney outfits. For example, princess dresses, stitch costumes, DTD tshirts, Dland tshirts, mickey ears, etc... It is best to go there in the morning because it gets really packed in there in the afternoon and evenings. That is pretty much true for all of DTD, too. If it's crowded, though, go upstairs. It is usually less crowded up there. Sometimes, they also have a few different outfits/accessories up there, too. It's all glass, so there's a great view of DTD from the 2nd floor. :)

They did used to have a mickey and minnie, and also a pooh at one time, but they didn't have any of those when we were just there for Easter.

We bought a outfit that included Mickey ears, a Disneyland t-shirt and big Mickey Gloves and out it on a regular bear

DD6 was given some US$ as Easter gifts to spend on our trip in May - she's planning on spending most of it in the BAB store. :cutie:

I don't know if she'll want to buy Mickey ears and gloves for her bear, but if not, mum will buy them. They sound really cute! :cutie:

Thank you for the info. I will definitely have to tell my kids to save money for some of those outfits. One more question, here in New York they used to have outfits from other countries. I would think they have those somewhere in Disney World near EPCOT, do you know if they have them in Disneyland? I'll be sure to get the t-shirts though.

I didn't see any costumes from the different countries when I was there in Dec. I wouldn't mind getting some of those if they had them.

We were hoping they would carry something unique there, but didn't notice anything uniquely Disney. Ds was still thrilled to go there to make an animal and he didn't care that it wasn't "Disney themed."

There isn't a BAB on WDW property - but I wish there was! :upsidedow

I didn't see any of the international wear there, but they did have a Disney Mulan outfit. :)
