Bug spray for 19 month old

Has anyone used a bug spray on a baby? Can you recommend one for me? We will be there in 16 days.

In Canada there is an "Off" bug spray for kids that I have used on my guys when they were small. I have also used a deet-free spray which I am sorry I can't remember the name of right now. Have a look to see if you have a similar product there. You do have to be careful on how often you use it on them, and make sure you spray it on your hands first and rub it in well. I did not use any product on their faces as I was afraid they would rub some onto their hands and later into their mouths. Depending on the temperature, maybe just smoothing it onto their clothes will help and you won't have to worry (of course, if they are not wearing much....). I have read about how great bounce sheets are in the pockets, and that would be more child friendly...

Scroll down a few posts til you get to the "Just got back from a camping weekend...it's official..." post. Many people talk about using Bounce sheets. Haven't tried it myself for mosquitoes, but we do use them throughout our camper, seems to keep the bugs away. We're leaving for WDW/FW in 8 days, so I'll be trying them for mosquitoes then.

Did I mention our next FW adventure is just 8 days away.

I use Avon's Skin So Soft Bug Repellent. It's a new product and works great for little ones.

avon also has a product called bug guard. It is made of citronella oil which is a natural product. check w/ your pediatrician to see if a citronella product would be ok; i was told i could use it when mine were as young as 6 mo's. It is different than skin so soft.
check your phone book or newspaper for an avon rep.
