Just back from WDW and had a couple of strange but nice experiences with FP at MK on Sunday, June 27th.

I know the published FP rules are once you get a FP you can get another one either 5 minutes after your current FP starts or 2 hrs after you got your first FP, whichever is shorter. The time you can get your next FP is printed on the bottom of the FP.

I got several FP's that day and most followed the rules. Strangely, twice I got a FP (with a return time less than 2 hrs away) with the time at the bottom saying I could get another FP only FIVE MINUTES LATER!!!!! I thought it was a misprint but sure enough, I was able to get another FP. At one point I was holding 3 FP's all within an hour of each other.

Is this fluke (I got these at Jungle Cruise and Haunted Mansion)? Has anyone ever had this happen to them? The only thing in common with the 2 were I hit the FP machine right at the time it said I could get the next FP.

While I have heard this happen to other people, it has never happened to me:( . I think it's great you were able to get FP's so close together. I'm sure it made life a lot easier and your trip a lot more fun:D

We wee there 7/7 and the time you could get your next FP is rinted at the bottom of the first FP. We had two most of the day.

I got one like that at Jungle Cruise in May, on the bottom it said I could get another one in 5 minutes. It was mid afternoon and it wasn't that crowded. I got the fastpasses and planned to go to POC & the Tiki Room while waiting, the return time was about 45 minutes away. When we got back to Jungle Cruise, the standby was pretty much walk-on. I assumed the 5 minutes was intentional since it wasn't that crowded.

Yeah that has happened to us many times. It even happened to us when we were at Disneyland. So i dunno if the rules are fuzzy at different times or its the same software as WDW and DL.

I believe Disney has continued to upgrade the system, so the two hour rule doesn't necessarily apply. During less crowded times you may be able to get a second pass sooner than the two hours.

I thought I read on the boards it is a perk that FastPass spits out randomly those that allow an earlier return time?

I think I haqve read somewhere that the Hounted mansion is the exception to the fast pass rule and that you can always get a return fastpass after 5 min from there for your next fast pass. I think you can on another ride too, so i wonder if that is the Jungle cruise

I have read that at Disneyland, the Fastpass machines are grouped differently. For example, you can get a fastpass for Indiana Jones then go to Roger Rabbit and get one at the same time. Does anyone know if that can be done at the World? :smooth:

Yes, I think Lentesta from the Unofficial Guide has said on here that HM and JC are the exceptions to the Fast Pass rules.
