TV Buffy could totally beat down movie Buffy. No doubt about it. But movie Buffy had more fashion sense. And besides, tv Buffy had Spike....movie Buffy had Pike (Luke Perry). Sidekick boy against sidekick boy, my money is on Spike.

I've been reading the comics, getting them the day they come out. I'm hooked! I've also been reading the "After The Fall" Angel and Spike comics. They're two separate series that cover the same topic (basically) after the end of Angel (the series, not himself. No, he's good and alive... ). Definitely pick them all up when you can. There was no October issue of Buffy confused3 ) and they'll probably be hard to find in stores, but you can get them online. SOOOO worth it!!
Or you can "cheat" like my friend and just ask someone else what's happening.

TNT airs 2 episodes of Angel every day...at 6am . Today's episodes were the final 2 episodes of the series. I had completely forgotten that Wesley was killed in the series finale. It was soooo sad to see that again. I'll have to look for these comic series. I forgot what a great series they were until I started watching the reruns again.

BTW, I loved that they brought Spike over to Angel after BTVS ended. I do love me some Spike!

ETA: I just saw that Willow and Wesley(Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof) are having a baby! How cool is that?

Jumping into this discussion because it's my favorite tv show of all time!

Heck I think Xander could kick Movie Buffy's butt! And I'm pretty sure he can take on Edward Cullen too. Even with one eye!

I'm very much into the comics too. I love them all. The comics really do the series justice too.

I actually have been waiting to order them when they publish a story in one volume at Chapters (Amazon has them too). It's a longer wait (the "Wolves at the Gate story hasn't come out yet), but it lasts longer... Getting a 15 min buffy every month just wasn't cutting it for me! I prefer an 1h long fix every 4 months!

It's a longer wait (the "Wolves at the Gate story hasn't come out yet), but it lasts longer... Getting a 15 min buffy every month just wasn't cutting it for me! I prefer an 1h long fix every 4 months!

I do not read the comics but I do read the books but if you read the novel Queen of the slayers it tells you what happened after sunnydale went boom and what happened in the ally at the end of angel....they did not live but something good did come from it.It was very sad and weepy lol the book is by Nancy Holder.

I've heard this novel was good but haven't picked it up. It's non-canon (meaning it is not officially part of the Buffy Universe). The Buffy season 8 comics, as well as the Angel & Spike After The Fall series are both canon and are headed/created by Joss himself. Maybe when they are finally finished with them I'll pick up Queen of the Slayers, but until then, I'd rather have the "real" life Joss intended for the characters.
