I am always very skeptical about buffets. Sometimes I've been in heaven and other times I swore I would never go back to a buffet again. I have never tried at buffet at WDW so I need your help. Please take my poll and offer any comments you might have. Thank you.

There isn't a buffet at Spoodle's any longer. They do have an all you can eat breakfast, that is served family style to your table. It is very good, btw. Yummy french toast!

I picked Boma , but with more info I could give a better answer. Boma is more exotic than the 2 below.

Other favorites are Crystal Palace (any meal) and
Donalds Breakfastodsaurus

For breakfast our favorite is Crystal Palace. For dinner we really liked Cape May Cafe. Just did that one August 04.

Will probably do CMC again this September. We are seafood lovers so it's great for us.

It would be so helpful if you would define "BEST".

Do you mean best food? Best decor? Best value? Best character interaction?

Each of the places on your poll is great for one reason or another, yet each are unique in their own way. What type of information were you wanting to get from your poll?

BTW I voted for the CP, but several others are also my favorites!!!

For a breakfast buffet I think you can't beat Crystal Palace. Not only is the food good and the character interaction really good, but just the way the sun shines through the glass looking out on the MK is the best way to start any morning!

By best I mean best overall taking into consideration atmosphere, food, etc. I'm just looking for people's opinions.

We love Crystal Palace (that is what I voted for)! But we also love Cape May (D), LTT(D), Chef M(B), Boma(D), 1900 PF (B&D)! I guess we just like buffets? They are quick and easy with kids! Also, Biergarten was good, but we always get stuck sitting with people we aren't compatable??? with! Happy planning!:bounce:

What do you mean? I've never been to Biergarten. How does it work? Do you sit at big long tables with strangers? How weren't you compatable? Sorry for all the questions but keep in mind I've never been there.

Ali

We've been to Biergarten a couple of times - yes you sit with strangers. Compatibility has never been an issue with us, we're usually too self-involved to notice anything beyond food, atmosphere and ourselves. The food is very meat and potatoes, and I love the setup.

I almost always have good eating experiences at WDW, but BOMA is by far my favorite.

second vote for the Trails End buffet at Fort Wilderness. I know its not in one of the parks, but if your staying at Wilderness Lodge or Fort Wilderness or anywhere close, it would be a crime not to try this place. I would say the food is a little more basic than Crystal Palace(another favorite), but its good and reasonably priced. The place is awesome!!

I voted for Boma. We have been there for both breakfast and dinner, and it is my families favorite buffet at WDW. Why? The location and atmosphere, the unique and tasty food offerings (including wonderful African wines you can purchase by the glass), and the smells (aahh!) The place can get a little hectic (translated: loud) though, so if you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it.

My second favorite buffet is not on your list, so I will mention it here. We really enjoy Fresh at the Dolphin. This place has only been around since last fall, and they just serve breakfast and lunch. We have yet to try it for lunch, but for breakfast it is a top notch venue. There are stations set up (i.e., carving station, juicing station, omelette's to orders, pancakes to order, etc). Because of how this place is set up, everything really is "fresh", as the name implies. The interior of this restaurant is cheery, and we received good service there too.

Third vote for Trails End....I love the breakfast there! It is really reasonable for a buffet...i just go to MK and hop the boat over on days we aren't really planning anything early in the parks since it could take some time getting there....but YUM! we go every trip!!
