My family is vegetarian and we have done the breakfast buffets and there is enough stuff that it still feels worth it at breakfast, but what about dinner? We have a night where we have no park admission and nothing to do, but Goofy's Kitchen Menu just doesn't look like it would be worth the price for us, but DS wants to see the characters. I don't want to spend that much for us to eat cheese pizza and mac n' cheese that probably isn't very good...?

Anyone ever done this as a vegetarian? The only other dinner buffet we have ever done is Tusker house in WDW, but they have an AMAZING menu for vegetarians, so it was well worth it (and they don't even have characters!).

I enjoyed everything I had there although I am not a vegetarian I don't eat a lot of meats and chicken. They do have cheese pizza, mac and chesse, seasonal vegetables (which seems to always be the same) (Carrot, Broccoli, Cauliflower), fruit, green salad, Cesar salad, pasta salad, Mozzarella and Tomatoes salad the soup of the day was a minestrone soup although the next time we went it was a corn chowder, PB&J pizza (although I have a TN/PN allergy so I don't know how it is.) They also have a specialty pizza which can change when we were there it was a Tomato and spinach pizza, Potatoes, Spanish rice. Not sure if you eat fish but they had cod and shrimp. I know there is more I am forgetting. For me and my family it was worth it.

I wouldn't do a dinner buffet at DLR.

Caesar salad is likely to have anchovy, I wouldn't a soup, and you're right, mac and cheese and cheese pizza just isn't worth the buffet price.

At DLR I hit the Paradise Pier breakfast buffet because, last I was there, they made the most awesome huevos rancheros right there in front of you. Worth the price of admission IMO. I won't go to the other character breakfasts because they don't make those as far as I have experienced. I can't do the scrambled "egg" product things at the buffets because they are so awful...we went to Minnie's once and the food there was so bad I literally ate mini chocolate croissants and coffee and that was all I could stomach. Bleah.

Thanks for the info guys, Bumbershoot you sealed the deal! I had been eying the Surf's Up breakfast since I saw the Huevos Rancheros on there and it sounded good. I think we are going to do that since we have never eaten there before. I wish the DLR buffets were as good as the ones in WDW. We loved the character interaction last time we did Minnie's though, they were all fabulous with DS.
