Can you request a to go box at the buffets to take the food remaining on your plate?
thanks
I watched a family at the table next to us do this at TH on our last trip. Except they were filling 2 BACKPACKS with anything they could get there hands on. Worst part is the kids were no more than 8-10 years old and they were being told to go get more food to load into the bags.I cannot imagine the need to carry around leftover food in a Ziploc bag while on vacation. I guess it's just me.
It's called a ziploc bag. I know that's the source of a lot of debate, but if I already have something on my plate and I can't finish it, I'm going to take it with me. Otherwise, it will get thrown away. I'm not going to purposely go and get extra food to take, but if I get too full, I'll wrap it up and take it.
Uh oh, then I've been a bad, bad girl. When we have taken our little guys to a character breakfast we always bring a ziplock bag. Especially when toddlers, they were always too excited by the characters to actually eat much breakfast. We would pack up the muffins, fruit and sometimes even a piece of bacon or two from their plates for them to eat later. Cause sure as the sun rises in the east, 20 minutes after leaving a character meal they are going to be hungry again.
If it's a breakfast buffet I don't see the harm in taking A PIECE OF FRUIT (SINGULAR) to eat later.
But yeah you can't take home an entire plate of food from a buffet.
