I purchased two one-way tickets from Orlando to Buffalo (non-stop) back in November for $175.00. We've been poor as dirt lately but still determined to get a trip for DH and myself w/out the kids. SWA charges by the one-way flights so I figured I would get our flight home covered and when we had more money I would purchase our flight down.
Well, I check the flight board about four times a day because I wanted a paticular flight down (non-stop) and the lowest it's ever gone was $79 - still pretty good but I couldn't do it until today after hubby got his x-mas bonus check from work. I woke up at 6:00 am and jumped on board and saw the flights were at a promo rate of $29 for a one-way (non-stop) flight from Buffalo to Orlando!!!
So, as it was I was jumping up and down going crazy when I decided to check the flight we had already purchased and it to to was down to $29 for a one-way (non-stop) flight from Orlando to Buffalo!!!
I called a SWA representative and she talked me thru rebooking the first flight at it's original time so I was given enought credit to purchase our flight down in it's entireity with a $24credit left for SWA. Thank you Cathy at SWA!!. Everyone is asleep at my house but I was so excited I was almost hypervenilating. I woke DH and told him but I don't think he was awake enough to fully appreciate what I was telling him. We got two tickets round-trip from Buffalo to Orlando for $150!!!
