We have just booked our Buffalo flights and this will be the first time over flying out of Pearson for any vacation. We are leaving in 2 weeks and I am trying to find a hotel there to park our car and have one overnight at. Do you typically book right through the hotel or has anyone had any luck booking through places like hotwire, parksleepfly.com etc. I just tried to call for one hotel and the price they gave me, they could not confirm if that included the parking, tried calling the hotel directly and they weren't sure if the parking was included! I don't want to get dinged for an extra $70 or something at the end on top of the hotel rate. Where do you normally book through?

We used the Days Hotel Buffalo Airport for our Christmas trip and were very pleased.

Rate included parking, shuttle to and from the airport, and a continental breakfast (that starts at 4 am, in case you have one of those early morning flights).

Room was super clean, great linens and comfy beds (not that we could sleep....too excited ;) ), staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, there's a big pool and hot tub onsite, the shuttle service was extremely efficient, and the location is great.....right across from the airport.

There are a whole bunch of pics in my trip report, if you want to check them out (see the link in my signature). I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I agree with everything Gina said! :thumbsup2

The hotel is located at 4345 Genesee St.
I always found if you book through the parksleepfly website it is $5 more (then they send you $5 off coupons) then booking it directly through the hotel, so we just call the hotel directly.

I think the price is about $119 for up to one week of parking or $159 for up to two weeks of parking. There are cheaper hotels out there, but we like this hotel and we are staying there again for our August trip.

So glad to hear the great reviews for Days Hotel Buffalo! We'll be heading there in a couple weeks :)

We like Staybridge Suites which we have booked twice now through www.trinityreservations.com (originally posted here on these boards by Camilio-thanks again) They are about 5 minutes from the airport, are new, clean, comfortable and the breakfast is a little more substantial than the other places including bacon and eggs. Both times it was $99 which included 14 days parking. We have also stayed at the Holiday Inn Express directly across from the airport many times as well as Days Inn. All are good, you cant really go wrong and dont worry-flying out of Buffalo is so easy you will wonder why you have never done it before!

We did the staybridge through trinity reservations as well. We loved it, staff was great, shuttle, free laundry. I wouldnt hesitate to stay there again.

Leaving via Buffalo in 2 weeks as well and staying at Sleep Inn Buffalo Airport (http://www.sleepinnairport.com/) $119 gets you 2 Double Beds, Breakfast and 7 days parking.

I just wanted to throw in my two cents with regard to the Staybridge Suites mentioned by a couple of previous posters.

We have also stayed there twice, but our experience wasn't as great as those mentioned above. We also booked through Trinity reservations, and the booking process and the price were great. The hotel is nice enough but we found that the staff weren't all that friendly, and upon our return on both occasions we ended up waiting well over an hour for the airport shuttle.

Obviously other people have had better luck with them than I have, but I definitely will not be using them again.

Whatever you do, DO NOT stay at the Motel 6 near the airport. We stayed there once and we will NEVER do that again. The rooms were disgusting (and we are pretty tolerable about that), the linens were filthy, the staff not very friendly, the bathrooms were old. We had people sitting on the floor outside our door with a crying baby at 1am (we had an early flight) so we were NOT happy.

Staybridge Suites are great. We've stayed here multiple times.

You couldn't pay me to stay at a Days Inn in the States.

We stayed at the Sleep Inn last Sept and it had recently had a big refurb. Really friendly staff as well.

I've stayed at both Days Inn by the airport and Staybridge Suites (booked through through Trinityreservations.)

They were of equal quality in my opinion. Staybridge was newer, but further away. I am particular about cleanliness and obviously wanted to feel safe. I had absolutely no qualms with either. I found the price for 10 days parking much better with Staybridge through Trinity. We were the only ones on the shuttle and it was prompt both times.
Again, just my experience, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back to either so I'd go with whatever price is best.:)
