Buffalo Niagara Airport Question

I'm going to be driving up to this airport over the weekend to surprise my BF who is flying up from Orlando. I'm completely unfamiliar with the area and the airport, but it looks relatively small and easy to navigate. I just have a couple questions for anyone who might be a little more familiar with it. First, I have an option of popping over on the hotel shuttle or driving over to pick him up. I assume driving will be faster, but I want to make sure finding convenient parking isn't too difficult. Second, it looks like there is only one spot for food before security, some sort of grill next to the security area. Is this also the location anyone arriving would have to pass through to leave? It looks like the only obvious spot but I wasn't sure if maybe they send arrivals to another floor before that point. I just don't want to miss him if I can avoid it, lol.

We fly out of the Buffalo airport all the time, and you're right, it's very easy to navigate and there is plenty of parking. If you are only going to be there a short time there is a short term lot you can walk right over from. The long term is less expensive, but you would need to use the shuttle to the terminal. I believe the grill you are talking about is right in the waiting area that everyone departing planes walks right by. You shouldn't have any problem at all.
