Looking for recommendations for a 2 week Park and Fly hotel in Buffalo that will take 2 adults and 3 kids in one room.:)

Our family of 5 have stayed at the Holiday inn on Buell Ave. It is direclty accross from the airport. They offer a park and fly rate.

Our family of 5 are staying at the Holiday Inn Express, .6 miles from airport, 14day park n fly, free breakfast for $160. and shuttle both ways

Just an alternate option as we just went through this last week......

We booked the Millenium through priceline and got for $32/night. We have stayed there before and it is nice...pool, close to airport and next to Galleria mall. They charge $7/day for parking and offer a shuttle, or park direct at airport for $50/week (using coupon online). Benefit of parking at airport is no wait time for shuttle and as soon as you get off plane, you are ready to get going! This whole option for us works out cheaper than paying a hotel for their park and stay option and no shuttle.

Check out betterbidding and use Priceline to bid on the 3.5* in Buffalo-Amherst. You will get the Buffalo Marriott Niagara since it is the only hotel listed under the 3.5* category with priceline. You just register your vehicle at the front desk for the free shuttle to the airport which is 5 miles away and they pick you up when you return. There is no limit on how long you can leave your vehicle and the great thing is you can do it when book through Priceline and park for free. The hotel is very nice. I got it for $52.00 last December but looks like it has gone up slightly. Recent bids look like $60.00 is the magic number. They gave us a free cot as well since we are a family of 5.

Could you tell me a bit more about the Millenium please? How did you find the room? The service? The restaurant/food? Did you use the pool? (We will be there long enough that the kids will want to).

TravelZoo sent an e-mail saying the Millenium has a special offer right now. $125 US gives people a $100 gift card to be used at their restaurants. Can upgrade to a larger room for $10 more.

Since we will be checking in late afternoon and staying overnight, we will need dinner and breakfast (2 adults, 2 kids) as it is. And on the way back when we check in again, we will need dinner, breakfast and lunch.

Also, did you leave your car with the Millenium?

Last we stayed there in '08 when we flew to Orlando, so things may have changed, but we found it fine. It was clean and had absolutely no issues. The pool area is quite nice...like an atrium in the middle of the hotel with a glass roof above, lots of plants, etc...quite nice. We only had breakfast there in the morning and again it was good....no complaints. You are right next to the Galleria and tons of restaurants around as well. We actually stayed in a pool view room on the ground floor that had patio doors that opened to the pool area which was great for easy access to the pool and nice to be able to sit there a bit after the kids went to sleep. We did leave our car there 2 years ago and had no issues with the parking or the shuttle, but it was an all inclusive price then and now they seem to charge by the day for parking as extra. We are just going to park at the airport since the price is not that much different.

We will be staying there this Tuesday night as we fly out Wednesday so I can let you know more then!!!

We spent last night there and it was great. We got a room on the 2nd flor with a balcony overlooking the pool area. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were great. The pool area was great for the kids. It was so hot, they actually had the roof open. A bit short staffed and getting towels, etc took a bit longer than it should. But absolutely no complaints for the $32. We didn't eat at the restaurant...so can't help you there.

We wouldn't hesitate to book it again.
