Hi there,

We're off to DLP on 8th August and plan to take kids into Studios on one day followed by early Buffalo Bill show for dinner then to the electric parade and fireworks in the main park at 10.30pm

The kids are 5 and 7 - is this a do-able plan?

Also is it worth paying the extra to have the more expensive seats at Buffalo Bill or will be equally happy sitting nearer the back. We did a character breakfast last year and were a bit disappointed (as adults) based on the price we paid - the kids loved it.

Any advice would be most appreciated

Thanks
Jo

When we did BBWWS last June we went for the cheap seats and am glad we did as I didn't like the look of being so close to the dusty floor with the more expensive ones. Maybe we were lucky as we had a great view and the actors regularly jumped up etc where we were but I feel that everyone had a great experience wherever they sat as the characters worked so hard.

If possible I'd try for a nap maybe as it will be a long day, enjoy it's a fab show :goodvibes

You'll be fine! Where ever you sit you get a great view, I actually prefer catagory 2 as you sit higher and IMHO, see more! The team leaders stand on the railings and get you to bang on the table/floor/wave your hats and generally shout, so be prepared for lots of noise and yelling, with out being told to be quiet, YEEHAW!

Have sat in both and the only difference is the cocktail and a free keyring. The view is good wherever you are in the arena.

Have any of you tried to book using the french DLP site where the tickets are €39 each no matter if you are adult or child?

Get all the way to the end of the booking process then it fails with a technical error and I don't know if it's because I'm using a UK mastercard. Have put the hotels address in.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Jo

If you've cleared cookies and cache and it's still doing it I think it is down to the card. I know that people were having pbs and it was because their banks were blocking the transaction in case of fraud. You could try seeing with your bank if that's the case

If they say that all is ok and it's still not working have a look at this thread and try one of the other options ie Fnac or Carrefour (bearing in mind that if you go via Carrefour you will have to go further a field than Val d'Europe to pick up your tickets)

Not only doable, that is exactly what we did.

We even had time for a couple of rides in the park before the parade after Buffalo Bills.

I wouldn't pay extra for the expensive seats.

I did find that the protion sizes for the children are a bit on the small side (especially as my son doesn't eat the potato wedges) - we noted this last time we went, so I managed to get an extra couple of sausages for my son when they brought around the adult food.

One other bit of advice - although the show starts at 6.30, the doors open at 5.30, and there is a photo opportunity with Mickey, but he leaves early -'to get ready for the show' we were told - so if you want that photo opportunity, get there shortly after doors open.

There is also a bit of a 'show' in the bar area about 20-25 minutes before the real show starts - again I didn't know that and missed it last time, but got there in time to catch it this time.

Buffalo bills is brilliant I think the atmosphere would be brilliant where ever you sit we have been twice and we loved it green both times so that's our team! Yeeha!! The kids will love it the food isn't the best food served in Disney (well except desert I love apple crumble I think that's what we had lol) but the atmosphere an show make up for it!
