So my partner and I are going to be at the airport superrrr early because of the timing for rides, we will have a ton of time to kill, any suggestions of things to do?

How much time do you have? I know the Walden Galleria is about 2 exits down the freeway so if you wanted to shop they might have a shuttle or you could take a taxi. Or maybe get your ride to drop you off at the mall and then take a taxi to the airport closer to your flight time. There really isnt much in the direct locale of the airport except for hotels, Tims, a McDonalds and a few other places.

Not much to do in the airport. Not even that many restaurants. I think the Anchor bar so you could have wings depending upon what time you are there. I think I saw a barber shop? Take a look at google maps and see what hotels and restaurants are nearby if you have that much time you want to walk around.

We are debating what to do the night before our flight as well. We are flying Dec 18 @5:30 am. In all likelihood we won't leave home til Thurs after work unless some huge storm is coming in. Then that will change. We have flown at 7:00 am but never earlier. So its a 6.5 hour drive for us to get to buffalo. If we get out at 4:30 ( more likely 5 or 5:30 we will stop twice bathroom so on plus boarder crossing. We won't be rolling into buffalo til midnight or so. Is it worth a park & fly hotel? Or should we go get something to eat at Timmie's or something. Head to airport and lounge there til 4:15 ish for security. I am torn. I won't sleep anyhow, knowing I have to be up at 3 ish. Grrrr hoping flight prices change to a bit later flight and I can switch flights on SW.

When we have early flights we often stay at a hotel across the street from the airport and use their park and fly service. We often head to Walden and have a nice dinner and PF Chengs or Cheesecake factory and check out the mall. There really isn't much around the airport

We ended up.booking the Days across the street. Nothing fancy but it was $89 for park & fly. We needed a night on our return as well anywhere I looked it was $159. And we land at midnight so didn't want to be getting in and changing hotels. But I called the days and they gave me a rate of $71.20 my return night.

I was considering that but with how low our dollar is it would be a big hit to our spending

Well, I guess if it is super early in the morning, nothing will be open in the general area. Are you travelling with a laptop or ipad? Maybe just hunker down, plug in the ear buds and share a movie. I know one time my DH and I played cards in the San Fran airport for 4 hour layover! Curious to know what you guys end up doing...
