BUF Airport Parking (not hotel)

This is the first trip we will not be staying overnight the night before our Buffalo flight. Our flight doesn't go out until the afternoon so we are just going to cross the boarder that morning.

I took a look at parking at the economy lot at the airport, but it says they don't take reservations.This worries me a little. Does anyone have experience with this lot, or any other nearby parking lot? Thanks

Honestly it would depend on the time of year you are going. If you are talking about peak travel times like Christmas and American Thanksgiving then you might want to have an alternative BUT we have never had a problem getting a spot in the economy lot and the shuttles are great.

We have used the economy lot and when I travel by myself Ive used the one closest to the airport. There is lots of parking and you should be just fine. Check out the website for the airport too, often there is a coupon for parking available.

I've used the economy lot several times and never had an issue with parking being unavailable. The shuttle from the parking lot to the airport is very quick and I would definitely park there again.

We use the airport parking as well, and even on March Break. We typically use the Long Term lot which is closer to the terminal and only $1/day more. Very convenient and have always found parking there.

We used the economy lot last summer and when chatting with the shuttle driver, he said the only time the lot fills is during Canadian March Break. Just want to reassure you again that you'll be fine during your travel time We've used that economy lot several times, and it's always been quick shuttle service. Have a great trip!

We used to park in the orange lot all the time and never had trouble getting a spot. We have even departed on the Tuesday after March break started and still got a spot. They have an over flow lot for the really busy times that is directly across the street from the terminal. Its just a gravel covered lot but it's huge and the shuttles are lined up there waiting. Last time we parked there I commented to the driver that the shuttle service was even better and he said it was because there was no way for you to call the van so they have to sit and wait for people.

Have you looked at The Parking Spot? It starts at $8.95/day, but almost always has a prebook deal for $7.95/day. And CAA members get a discount, or at least they did last time I used it. The shuttles were great too, no issues at all.

EDIT: I just checked, the CAA discount brings it down to $6.95/day, or $44.95/week.

We went at Christmas/New Years and had zero problems. Park and shuttle picks you up immediately. Love BUF airport!

Such an easy airport to zip in and out of, as other posters said, check for the discount coupon for parking!
