Just wondering, when you say within walking distance to DTD....how far would that be? Seems like it would be easier than taking the bus. Would just get on bus to TTC from DTD, right?

Maybe I am mistaking what you are talking about...BVS is not really within walking distance of DTD. I'd say a couple miles. Also, do DTD buses go to the TTC? I know they don't go to parks, only resorts. I don't know if they consider the ttc a park or not.

OOPS! Was looking at BVS and Doubletree. Got them mixed up. It's Doubletree they say you can walk to DTD.

They do have hair dryers, a refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee/tea maker, in-room safe, iron and full size ironing board. And the most wonderful bedding!!

also, anyone know if you could book two non consecutive days on the special they ran (one at $89 w/ second at $29) if they offer it again.

We booked for may for the four of us(me,wife,son 20 and daughter 21). I like to stay on site also(for extra magic hours). Free breakfast and fridge made the decision for us. Disney needs to wise up when it comes to the extras in there rooms. Does anyone know if you can used the pool at there sister resort and is it a short walk to there?

Unfortunately, you are not able to use the pool at the Caribe Royal. I called and asked because we were thinking the same thing. My DH and DS love to go to the pool daily and the pool at BVS looks a tad small.

We stay at my dad's condo but we always stay at BVS when we need a few extra days and have never been disappointed. (Stayed 3 nights last month). It's a great deal for the price. I've always wanted to try out staying onsite but since we avoid EMH parks like the plague, and we can get a great place for quite a bit cheaper someplace else, it doesn't make sense for us. We have a great time there before heading to the condo and will continue to stay and reccommend it.

The busses from DTD do not go to the TTC or any of the theme parks - just to the resorts!!
