Buena Vista Palace special rate

If it helps anyone-

Going to see the late show of Cirque this weekend and was looking for someplace to stay near DTD so don't have to drive back from DTD. Came across a special for Buena Vista Palace on Orbitz for $101. There is also around a $12 amenities fee and usual taxes, but this was still a pretty good deal when comparing the rates for hotels in Lake Buena Vista area.

I have also seen this special come up as $99 on a couple of sites but sometimes when you click the special rate the actual rate comes out higher. Orbitz was the one site I could actually still get the discount.

Fine print says if you cancel up to the day before could/will be a $25 charge. Your card is charged one night deposit when make reservation.

Buena Vista suites is the property disborads has the discount with. OP is taking about the hotel that used to be the Wyndham.

Right, Buena Vista Palace across from DTD, not the BV Suites. Oddy enough it was Buena Vista Palace 20+ years ago when I stayed there, I don't know at what point it became Wyndham Palace and now back to Buena Vista Palace.

Right, Buena Vista Palace across from DTD, not the BV Suites. Oddy enough it was Buena Vista Palace 20+ years ago when I stayed there, I don't know at what point it became Wyndham Palace and now back to Buena Vista Palace.

I didn't know they're back to be called Buena Vista Palace. Our first visit to WDW we stayed there. A very nice spot!! I might have to give them a call again if they have rooms for that price!!
