Has anyone stayed there recently? We are going on a kind of last minute trip with my three boys and wanted to know how others experiences have been. I've read good things.

Does anyone know if they have kids life jackets at the pool?

Just going to pop this downstairs!:)

:sunny:

Well, I read some reviews on Trip Advisor and it's sounding pretty good. One main thing that concerns me is that they don't have a kids tv channel. :scared: ....that is according to the latest reviews.

We are leaving tomorrow so I will try to remember to update this post.

Bumping!

We are staying there starting June 7 and I'm also interested in recent experiences.

We have returned from our trip and had a really good time.

The hotel was nice...they are doing some renovations in the lobby and it looks like it should look really nice when they are done. Also, they are doing some stuff on the first floor where you head for the pool but once I figured out which way to go it was no problems.

The room we were in was nice. The beds were very comfy and they had down comforters. The flat screen tv was nice, but they didn't have a good kids channel....so my kids watched the disney 7 top things to do a lot. The desk had a nice comfy desk chair, not just the standard wooden non comfy chair.

The only thing in the room that was slightly annoying was the bathroom vanity. It is a stand alone vanity and you had to worry about things falling off the sides and the back. It was not a big deal but just kind of annoying.
Our room had a balcony and we could see Epcot, the Contemporary, and Tower of Terror. We did watch the fireworks at Epcot one evening.

We did spend some times at the pool. They have one pool that is deeper in the middle, kind of like a vollyball pool, but we didn't go in that one. The other pool has three ends, one shallower, one deep end and one end that went into a covered building where the hot tub is. There was a little waterfall that you had to sorta go through to get to that part, but it wasn't bad along the edge and there is a side walk if you don't want to go to the hot tub without getting in the main pool. There is also a small little baby pool.

There is a cabana station where you sign out towels. I think she also has pool toys that you can borrow...I saw people get a little baby floaty, a kick board, and they have a big floaty raft. We also forgot our raft there, so if they have a purple one, that was ours. I don't know if they had life jackets because we brought our own.

We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't say anything about the resturants there. It was a short walk to Down Town Disney. You do have to cross one road and there really isn't a cross walk. We didn't have any problems getting across.
