Buena Vista Palace Lazy River etc

We're staying at the Hilton BVP next week. Can anyone report on the lazy river there? Is it nice enough to spend a few hours there instead of doing something at DS? I've heard it's heatedheated- true?

While I'm asking, can anyone report on their overall experience at the hotel? Older reviewers said "meh," but I hear that refurbished last year. Thanks!
