Budget with Westjet Code

Has anyone used Budget car rental with the Westjet "guest" code. I found the code on mousesavers, which has always been very reliable. Mousesavers says that you do not have to show any proof of flying Westjet and you can book from a link on the Westjet website and get the same price. Using the code saves me about $35, which would be nice but not worth it if I am not eligible.
