Budget trip - MVMHP or not?

This is our first and only time to go around the holidays so I'm VERY excited!!!!! That being said, we are also on an extremely tight budget this trip. I don't want to miss out on anything, so I'm still debating on Mickey's holiday party, but at the same time I'm not sure I can justify that expense.

What do you guys think? Are there things we'd miss out on if we didn't go? Thanks for the input!

The one time we went we didn't care for it and thought it would be a good deal for locals and people who didn't have tickets for any other time. I would skip it and just see the parade and visit the attractions another time. I know they offered cookies and photos when we were there but we didn't take advantage of those at the time. You could always buy your own cookies, etcetera.
