Does anyone know where I can find cheap teddy bears. Around 8" bears would work. I have been buying the Teddy Bears from the Dollar Tree for the past few years and glamouring them up with fancy Tutus. flowers, rhinestones and ribbons to sell at our annual dance recital at reasonable prices for the dancers. Very little profit was made but very happy dancers. Seems like Dollar Tree stopped carrying them this year. I would hate to not have them available this year. Many of the bears I found were too expensive to use.

Any suggestions?:confused3

After holidays are a great time to buy. My Girl Scout troop did a large Easter Egg hunt for our district and we bought Valentine's Day stuffed animals at Target for 75%-90% off and a lot at Walgreen's for 90%, we bought Spring ribbons and replaced the bows and put stickers over anything that said Valentine on the tags so they still were new with tags. We were able to give every girl that attended a "prize" of some kind. We had over 50 so it saved our troop quite a bit.

Can you try bunnies this year? Dollar tree.com has some cute ones for $1 each.

I just ordered 8" bears with my studio logo on it for $3.95. They will not be dolled up with rhinestones or anything else but will be wearing a t-shirt with my studio logo on them. A lot less work!

BTW......I am not selling the bears, they are a gift for my Tiny Tots, however, most studio owners I know do sell them and make a decent profit.
