Budget/Tax Question

We received our estimated budget - some items are the "flat rate", some have tax and some have tax & 20% added. Our coordinator missed some items and while we wait for her to respond, I'm trying to figure it out on my own.

If anyone had the MK/Epcot Photoshoot, characters and a guitar (or any instrument) upgrade, was it the flat rate, just tax or the ++

For Escape weddings, tax and service charge are only assessed on the things added to the package, not the package itself.

So, of the things that you can add to the package, only food & beverage and A/V setups incur service charges. Note that there is also tax on the service charge incurred by food and beverage.

As for tax, entertainment (characters, musicians) is not taxed, and photography is only taxed if you live in Florida or have the products (albums, prints) delivered to you before you leave.

Those tax & service charges can really blow someone's budget out of order and trying to figure out their reasoning of what is charged and when was giving me a headache.

So with an escape package, the service charge and tax are included in the package price?

It is a weird breakdown, and can be really confusing:

The Brut is $60 but comes out $77.32 (tax & service)
The Cider is $24 but comes out $30.92 (tax & service)

I added the sugar bride/groom ears, they were $25 but ended up $26.63 (just tax)

The actual wedding package was $4749.91 (everything included in the package is listed, but as 0.01)
