Budget rentals?

After searching high and low and playing with a bunch of codes it looks like the best we can get right now is a full size with Budget for $292.56, our dates are 10-20/11-3, is this a good rate?

I wanted to try out National and use our EC membership but the rates seem so high! I haven't had it under $400 yet.

We've never had to rent a car on vacation so this is a new one for us!

Has anyone had good luck with Budget? We signed up for fastbreak but because I used a coupon I can't tell if it's under the fastbreak thing or not.

It sounds like a good rate to me for the number of days you are renting for.

I know what you mean about the budget website. If you use a coupon or code you can't log in with your fastbreak number. I think I am just going to call and have them check and add the fastbreak number to the reservation if needed.

We are new to Budget and I am used to the National website for reservations.

Budget is much cheaper for dh's business trip next week and for our December trip so we are going to give them a try.

We're gotten Budget several times via Priceline now. The line hasn't been too bad, and the agents are not pushy on insurance. They even gave us an upgrade from economy to a Ford Escape once! Their cars tend to be a little more dinged up than some of the others, but for the price I don't care! I like them a lot.

Try using code U030121 (from mousesavers.com). I put in your dates and it came up as $241.98 + taxes and fees.

I used that code to get the cheapest minivan rate around for my trip this month.

Good luck. This will be our first time using Budget. Will let you know how we make out when I get back.

I checked you're dates but don't know times and with entertainment coupon codes I got 249.39 full size. If you want I will pm you codes and mail you coupon, I will not use. But I put in those dates at Dollar today and got 186.02 with no code( in the final page they had added code RWUW8) Hope this helps, but I'd check Dollar you can always cancel..rates keep changing every day read other post over last few days.

I got these code from The Costco Travel. BCD# W852825, CPN #MUGZ129. I tried to use it for my January rental. I could not figure out how to us the coupon ($20 off). Without the coupon, it gave me a weekly full size for $145 including tax & fees.

The coupon says take an extra $20 off when you present this coupon at time of rental. So I will try that. Has any one used a coupon for car rental?

The rates seems different today. the base a week is $116.15 a day
