I am new to car rentals. We rented a car once, for a day, and it was with the assistance of DH employer. The only other two times were when the car went in for warranty work and the dealer lent me a vehicle. I'm on my own this time.
I looked up Budget at the Double Tree Suites on Hotel Plaza Blvd by following a link on Mouesavers. I reserved an Intermediate (Pontiac G6) at $190.10. Strangley, this price had lowered while I was browsing the site. Initially it priced at $202 something. I was looking at other size cars, debating if we could go smaller since we only need the car to commute, not haul luggage.
Is less than $200 a good rate for 6 days/15 hours (5pm 8/27- 8am 9/3)? I looked at Alamo at the Car Care Center, which gave me a price over $370 for the same dates and didn't adjust when I shortened the length of use.
