Rentend an intermedieate SUV through Priceline and got Budget. WE are Fastbreak members but thought because we rented through Priceline we coulnd't go straight to the garage so we went to thr counter. It was probably a 15 minute wait until we were waited on. No questions asked about insurance. He did try and get me to bump up to a regular SUV, but I said no. I asked him for the Ford Escape and he said sure. He also said that since we were Fastbreak Members that even though we rented through Priceline we could have gone straight to the garage. I know that this question has been asked on here before. It took a little extra time for him to process the rental because he had to link up our Fastbreak account with the Priceline reservation. We got a white Ford Escape with black leather interior. Very clean. No bells and whistles.
We were supposed to return the car at 2pm, but I noticed on the contract we could rent it for an additional hour at $10.01 so I called and extended our reservation. When I dropped the car off at 2:59 the check out guy said "no charge"! Not even the $10. You do get a 29 minute grace period on returns if you rent through Budget, but he said it's a Priceline thing that gave me the extra 59 minutes at no extra charge. Had it been the even hour they would have charged me the $10. That made me happy!
Anyway, it was a good experiece all around!
