Budget on fake Christmas tree

Costco has real trees for 34

Not sure where you are located but Big Lots has trees for under $30... there is a 6' prelit for $25 and a 6' with no lights for $20

I bought a 6 ft tree at Target- no lights for $20. I had boxes of lights so it was okay. Got it for my Mom who just moved here but had no money for a tree and my money was tight. Not as pretty as the $200 tree but after we were done decorating it, it looked really pretty.

Depending on where you are, craigslist has had several postings for trees lately. I keep missing the best deals so we'll just stick w/our old, 2nd hand one from Goodwill I bought when we moved here. Lots of people replace them this time of year so you can find great used ones!

Walmart deal for two trees $38 - one regular 6.5 foot prelit tree, the other is a 32" fiber optic tree. Says you have to pick a white tree, but there is a green tree in the options as well.
