Budget: Niagara Falls

Found out on Christmas Eve that my son's hockey team is playing in Silver Sticks ( Tournament for Hockey) Jan. 6-9!!! Anyone from the area know of any coupons or budget places to eat and play?? Our team is staying at the Sheraton on the Falls. Any help would be appreciated.

If you have AAA check there...Sometimes they have some great play deals. We have used them before with success!

We just got a whole insert in our paper devoted to the Junior Hockey Championships in Niagara Falls a few days ago .Its from

There are lots of hotels and restaurants listed. There is also a checklist of what to make sure you have when traveling into Niagara Falls...(Not sure if you are staying on the US side or crossing over).
I know there are some indoor waterparks, outlet malls and duty free shops.There is a Hard Rick Cafe on the American side and lots of "tacky" places like wax museums, house of mirrors etc.They are tacky but fun! I know my friends went to a dinner show called, "Oh Canada Eh? and they enjoyed that (www.ohcanadaeh.com) I am pretty sure the falls is still lit up for Christmas through Jan. I agree with the above poster to check out AAA if you are a member and check out the tourism pages. good luck to your son's team and have fun!!!

Your hotel is a great location - Canadian side - it has a waterpark, Rainforest Cafe, Starbucks and Hard Rock onsite. Consider joining RC's Safari Club for a discount. Planet Hollywood and Perkins are nearby too.

For cheap eats, Clifton Hill (the area with all the cheesy wax museums and such) is a good bet. There's a Boston Pizza, Tim Horton's (of course) and Wendy's, BK etc.

Your hotel is right near the Rainbow Bridge so you can easily cross to the US side too. However, it's not as touristy.
