Budget mini van rate code? $199??

I have been doing my homework and checking Mousesavers etc daily for codes for a mini van for Aug12-23. I have not been able to get ANYTHING cheaper than approx $800. I have never paid this much in all the times we have been to Florida not even at Christmas time! I saw a code for Budget U030121 for a mini van for $199 a week. I tried it online and I tried it on the phone and neither one worked. Has anyone succeeded in using this code? Does anyone have the email form Budget? I know it says on Mousesavers that it has to be Aug 15-Nov 15 so when I called or checked the internet I used the arriving date of Aug 15 but still prices ranged from $800-$1200!! YIKES . Can anyone email me or respond if they have used this code or if they can send me the email? Thanks so much!!!! We have to have a van or SUV for DS and his wheelchair and "Stuff"

The info on my site pretty much sums up the offer. I don't have the e-mail anymore, but there really wasn't anything more to it.

You are booking really late in the game and there may be an event going on during that time, or perhaps minivans are all just booked up. Either way, obviously there aren't any minivans available anymore for those dates in Orlando. (It was a national offer.)

I tried a bunch of other companies and codes but didn't find anything too good for your dates. Best I found was around $650 on Alamo with Wal-Mart code.

Thank you so much!! I can't believe that you did that! That was so nice. We love your site and use it quite often. I was a bit surprised when I called that they said they do not have that code in the system? Do they usually take them out if the run out of vans etc. I should have known that $199 was jsut to good to be true. I am going to try Sam's Walmart and B.J's codes daily as those seem to be the cheapest and we have them all!!! Thank you again, I can't believe that you took the time to search that out.

I got the $199 rate with Budget. My dates are in mid August. While it IS late in the game, I have been actively trying to book a minivan for months and months. It is a very odd situation. And I have access to Ent book, BJs, Costco, AAA, and many more discounts (I mean I am a member etc).

I am picking up my minivan at midnight, on the 15th. We arrive in Orlando the 13th, in the afternoon, go home on the 20th. First we go to Universal, onsite, so we can get by without a car. Sat night I will go by cab or Mears to pick it up. Now I am trying to get a rental for those 2 days, or 1 1/2 days. So far, no real luck. I may just call Budget and see if they will add it on, for some reasonable amount.

I am still hoping for a fair deal with National, so far, no luck.

I just now got $199 with Dollar using the KISS3 code.

I'm leaving Aug. 26th.
