Budget lego party favors

We did a Star Wars/Lego party a couple of years ago. I ordered from pick a brick at lego.com pieces to make each kid their own minifigure and lightsaber.

I then printed out on address labels the star wars logo super tiny and cut it to fit on the shirt. They were a hit. I also tried to make the person look like the child that was going to receive it.

This year I plan on another lego pary and bought the helicopter from the $3.99 section at target. For the other party I had gotten one little SW package for a prize but most of the kids weren't really into legos so passed on getting them all little ships.

I bought a bulk Lego set for my son's Lego party. It cost about $30. I divided all the Legos up for the 10 guests who attended. At the age your child is, I don't think they would care if you used a similar theme. I let the kids build what they wanted to out of the sets I made.

My friend made marshmallow logo guy, she took one regular sized marshmallow then put a mini marshmallow on top, (attach w/ chocolate) then dip in yellow chocolate and write face on the yellow chocolate with edible marker. She then put in sucker sticks and put them in bags and handed out as one of the favors. Looked very cute!!

Hallmark just came out with Star Wars Lego plates, napkins, etc. They have some nice souvenier plastic cups. Unfortunately, I can only find them online. Party City (are only party chain here) said they won't get them in until Nov and we're planning his party for the first weekend in Nov so I can't plan on it. The cheapest online so far is Party City...so I guess I'm just going to have to deal with that $6.95 shipping. Grrr!
Oh, my kids also get a Christmas ornament every year in their stocking that represents something they like that year. Hallmark has come out with a Darth Vader Lego ornament this year. So excited!!

Target has (non-Lego) Star Wars tablets, pens (2 pack), yo-yo's and 48 piece lenitcular puzzles in the dollar spot when I was there today. I bought some to put in treat bags for DS's party in January.

Target has small inflatable light sabers for $2 each in the party goods aisle (by the party plates/party favors, etc.)

this was my son's Lego cake from last January

The kids loved it.
