Budget Gift for Husband

Dh and I stayed at an adorable Victorian B&B in Cape May last summer and the night stands had these little coasters. So I order a set to put in his stocking.

I had the same problem so I went on ThinkGeek.com and got him the little Death Star mold to make Death Star-shaped giant round ice cubes for his scotch.

They had other things like that under $20 and under $10, so I got a bunch of things.

I need a couple of budget minded gifts for my husband. I have already bought him a couple of larger gifts, but I need a couple that are in the $10 range. I get tired of giving him the same old thing. Looking for some fresh ideas! Bring them on......

For my geeky husband, I rely on Think Geek.

I got him a light up D20 dice, the Book of Secrets (I think is what it's called), and some tshirts. Oh, and the light up chopsticks that look like lightsabers---DH's are red, and DS's are blue.

I'm hoping to get more ideas off of this thread.

I have more for my pets than I have for my husband so far! I have a St. Louis Blues Hoodie and a St. Louis Cardinals Hoodie so far, and a dad t shirt. I have no other ideas. He doesn't cook/bbq/hunt/drink (other than an occasional beer)/have hobbies besides his saltwater fish tank. He's going to school, taking some really hard college classes right now, so free time is spent studying. If he needs tools he can borrow/check them out from his job, so I don't need to get him anything like that.

I think I will get him some cashews, I like that someone suggested that.

My brain is fried trying to come up with more ideas.

A gallon of Prime, a basket of assorted test kits and additives (iodide, trace minerals, etc.), a stockpile of frozen foods such as silversides, and/or a gift card to the fish store.

Great ideas. For our anniversary I got him some fish and added them, he had to "find" his gift. He was surprised I did that. Maybe the kids can give him another fish (That I know he wants) and we can add some of your ideas too! And a gift card to his favorite saltwater store. Thanks.

My husband always wants a new yo-yo , new sharpies, a new screwdriver with the interchangeable ends, a new LED flashlights and hard candies. And he always seems to need a new phone charger cable or a thumb drive. He likes sets of armor all wipes and rainx for his car. And I almost always buy him a new belt for Christmas so he doesn't walk around looking like an old man with his pants falling down.

I got several things for my husband today at great prices from Lands End-40% off entire order, including sale prices, so the fleece jacket I bought him was about ten bucks.

I've also used groupon to buy a few things-$25 coffee gift card for ten bucks, hour massage for just over $20.

There are some great ideas here! I bought DH a coat from Lands' End yesterday (on sale with additional 40% off made it very budget-friendly!).. also gloves/hat. Bought him the last season of Smallville for $9ish on Amazon. A couple other DVDs from Amazon that were in the $2-3 range. Oh, and the kids picked out a new leather wallet for him. I'm looking for a few other smallish gifts, but I'm mostly done. We're trying to keep it small this year.. lots of medical bills.
