Budget Friendly Eye Cream?

The black circles under my eyes have gotten out of control lately. I've tried a few things from major department stores and have some concealer I picked up at Sephora's - that is definitely not cheap. But I was hoping that maybe some of you ladies have found the quick fix for this? I've gotta figure something out. I get tired just looking at the circles under my eyes, lol.

I don't think eye cream works for that. Research what vitamin to take and other remedies.

When you say eye cream, I think a moisturizer (I've had great luck with the Boots No. 7 line so maybe look to their Lift & Luminate). For concealer, I have thin skin, pale, and tend to run dark circles. I ended up going expensive to find something to work (YSL Touche Éclat). I have found letting my allergies go makes the circles MUCH worse so I keep on top of my allergies as well.

My suggestion isn't budget, but is the only cream I have found that helps my dark circles, and I have tried many, many eye creams. I have allergies so they aren't going anywhere anytime soon and I've had them my whole life. I see a great improvement when I use Benefit's It's Potent Eye Cream. Yes it's expensive and you have to keep using it, but a little goes a long way and the vial lasts a long time. I also like Benefit's Erase Paste as a concealer for the times I want extra coverage.

It doesn't just have to be a cream, I was just trying to use an inclusive term for what I'm looking for. I've tried things such as like the Garnier Anti Dark Circle Roller, etc. Just looking for something that works.

I have the same problem and just discovered Bobbi Brown Concealers at Sephora.

I couldn't be more pleased. I definitely intend to look at other products in her line since I'm so satisfied.

I've also read good reviews about YSL Touche Éclat but haven't tried yet due to price and now very satisfied with Bobbi Brown ($25).

None of the drug store brands work for me and, believe me, I've tried them all.

Nightline did a spot about IT Cosmetics the other night. Looked impressive on TV anyways. I just looked up the under eye concealer is $24.

I use the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer ...it's $24. Not exactly "budget friendly" but it's one of the only concealers I've found that hides the dark circles under my eyes all day. With concealers, I've found that you get what you pay for so it's one of the beauty products I splurge on. A little goes a long way, so I can stretch a tube for a few months. As far as getting rid of the circles altogether, I haven't found anything...it's partially genetic I assume. Just make sure you're drinking lots of water so your skin is hydrated. I also use a night cream from Clarins (not cheap either) but keeping my face moisturized all day and night helps.

I have allergies that mostly act up in the summer. I have dark circles under my eyes and going into the upper inside corners of my eyes. I use Cover Girl & Olay Simply Ageless Corrector (cream in a small jar). I have one color I use in the winter months that is a little lighter and one color a touch darker I use in the summer months when I get a little bit of a tan. It is a creamy product but it doesn't settle into the lines under my eyes as other coverups I have used. It doesn't bother my eyes and make them water like some other products I have tried, either. The only complaint I have is that, depending on the mascara I am wearing, it seems to make non-waterproof mascara "melt" and I can end up with raccoon eyes. It washes off easily and I think it blends well.

I had a very energetic face massage a few years back and it did wonders for my face! For the first time in years, the dark circles practically disappeared and I swear I looked almost 10 years younger!! I have been wanting to try that again and this summer may be the time.

Dark circles are usually do to lifestyle that ultimately results in poor circulation. The darkness, if not genetic/medication induced, is often from stagnated blood and/or fluid making the blood vessels more pronounced. Get adaquest rest, keep your sodium intake in line, hydrate with water, sleep on your back, get any allergens treated, and do massage with something like coconut oil since it is viscous enough to handle massage without further damaging the blood vessels.

As someone genetically predisposed to dark circles, I have yet to find an eye cream that does anything but moisturizer.

THESE are awesome. They're the only thing I've ever used that made me see a noticeable difference right away. Now, it's not a permanent solution, but over time it helps.

I actually like Mary Kay firming eye cream (and I'm not a huge MK fan), and my favorite concealer is Tarte Maracuja Oil creaseless concealer. A little goes a LONG way, and it's so creamy that it could have a learning curve when applying it, but it's my favorite!

I think just about every community has a cosmetology school. They can offer good services on the cheap. You might call around and see if there is one near you that offers facials. If you find a facial works well for you and it is affordable, it's a good thing!

As for an eye serum, I use Neocutis LUMIÈRE. My dermatologist recommended it and I love it! I just looked, and Neocutis makes a product specifically for dark circles. The products are expensive, but they last a long time. I've had one bottle now for a year. I think if you have really dark circles it has to do with the fat pad underneath your eyes. My mom had really dark circles, and went to a plastic surgeon and he fixed it. Not a cheap fix, but it was a permanent fix.

Yay nice! I've heard that about the IT concealer...luckily, I don't have too many fine lines around my eyes yet, but I do use a primer to fill in whatever lines and cracks I might have anyway.

One thing for covering them up is primer is the key. For me it helps the concealer glide on so I can pat it into place and get better coverage. I use this one for under the eye, pricey but you need just a dab. http://www.sephora.com/photo-finish...uId=1434638&icid2=search_search_p375100_image i can really tell the difference when i don't use it as my concealer won't glide on and this does have a bit of a tint to it. i have been wanting to try out one of those new peach color correcting primers but haven't found one i like yet.

i also have a primer i got from bare minerals for the entire face that works well, but this is a clear gel so no tint. believe it or not my favorite concealer is the sephora brand, it has this smoothness to it. the skin there is fairly delicate and i have dry skin, so some of the thicker concealers cake on or i have to really rub them in to get even coverage.

as far as cream i just pick up some l'oreal revitalift to try out as nothing i have has really done much other than moisturize. i read good reviews online for this one. i found two of the eye cream for $13 at TJ maxx. My local walgreens sells them for $24 and they were $19 on sale this week so it was a good deal. i also got a bare mineral starter kit while i was there that had a mini of the primer in it. the kit was $29 and sephora sells it for $49. in fact i got a new face moisturizer there that i really like and it was $13 and amazon and whole foods have it for 26-29 each (I went back and bought the other two they had to stock up). http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/my...7216&sst=c53061f0-1e44-4c95-bf6e-b3411e15884d
