Budget Code

Budget has a code on their site which appears to be new. The BCD code is U030122. I was able to get a minivan for 3/7-3/14 for $189 before taxes and fees. It appears to apply to other cars as well.

Do you know where this code came from? I've tried their "internet only" codes but they all expire before the end of the month (at least the ones that apply to me). When I plug this one in I get a good rate for my trip-Feb25th through March 5th-$244 plus taxes - but I want to make sure I don't need to present some extra card or coupon when I get there. Thanks!

I have ressies using a Costco code for 12 days starting on Easter for $200.55.
I just got a quote of $366 for a full size using your code. Oh well.

If you are going to book using that code you'd better call Budget and find out what kind of code it is. If it's (for example) Sam's Club, then you may have to show your card and prove that you're a member.

I didn't see any expiration dates on the Internet only rates that I used. I simply clicked on the internet only specials and picked the weekly minivan special rate and the code was automatically inserted into the proper field. You won't need any other coupons etc.

Darn, I tried this code a couple of days ago and it said not a valid code for a minivan so I went ahead and got a minivan on hotwire for 460 and now I tried the code again and it works and gives me a minivan for 430! Darn! I knew I should have waited.

I have a question about fastbreak. I was told that in order to use Fastbreak when we go in March, we would have to rent a car from budget (even if it's for one day) prior to going. Something about the fact that it needs to be in their system. I didn't understand this since I'm assuming Fastbreak works because of a credit card being in the system. Any advice?

thanks Jon, i cancelled my dollar res to go with your code and budget. saved me $70 for the week.

Trouble was I signed up for fastbreak before doing your code so once i did it wouldn't give me the option to plug in your code and the fastbreak rate it was giving me was atrocious, so i just made the reservation as a new customer.

why do fastbreak members get the shaft with rates?

also I am curious as well to how this fastbreak thing works? Can i just totally bypass the counter and go pick out my van? where would the keys be?
this would really be a blessing and a time saver.

szvers, I just went through the exact same exercise. But, I called the Fastbreak phone number under contacts, and the woman applied my fastbreak number to the existing reservation and swears I will have no problem using the Fastbreak line. Give it a try!

palmerjl, thanks for mentioning the code. I dumped my Emerald Aisle Intermediate Crap Shoot for a guaranteed minivan

Now, since this is my first time with Fastbreak, can anyone explain the procedure in Orlando? Hopefully this will alleviate my problem with lines....

Thank you for the code!! I was able to get a full size for May 7-14 for $124!!!! I've never gotten a rate that good!
