A while back someone posted a code for Buget X793201. It got me a great rate for a mid size in November. Now I am worried that I will need a coupon to get this rate. So hoping someone may know where this came from. The rate I got was $143 (includes taxes) from Nov 10-16. Thanks for any help :)

I'm not sure where that code came from although it looks familiar. You can always call budget and just ask if this code is valid because you found it on the web and want to know if you need to present a coupon or not. I did this with another code I used. But it also depends on who you get on the phone b/c some of them aren't always nice:rolleyes: Hopefully someone will come along and have an answer for you. Good Luck.

I used codes that was through Bj's website. The coupon had a code and a discount. Not sure what % the discount was but it was less then the regular rate and then when I present that exact coupon it is for an additional $20 off. I actually wrote to budget b/c I heard so many people having problems with them accepting coupons and changing their rates when they got there b/c they originally got it off their website (which is how I booked it) and they responded that they were sorry to hear I was worried and assured me that there should be no problems at all when I get there so I printed the email and will be brining it with me just incase.

According to CarRentalCodes.com, this code is from the Budget/Disney website.
You should also have a $20 off coupon to present with this code.

QUOTE] Thanks so much for your reply. I do have the $20 off coupon. Is there a special Budget/Disney website I actually find this info on?

If you go to the Budget.com website, they have a special deal for Orlando rentals. If you want the best Budget deals out of MCO, use this link rather than putting in your dates on the Budget homepage. You'll get different quotes. Go figure.

I played around with the codes I found at rentalcodes.com and found the WalMart code was the best for me. I can get a compact for 11/4-11/7 for $70.

Argh....

I just tried the WalMart code and dates this morning and the quote went up $23 on me :(

The one thing I've learned about rental cars is when you see a good price, go ahead and make a reservation. You can always cancel it later if you find a better rate. It doesn't cost a thing to cancel.

Also, (I learned this "the hard way" last year) if you're traveling on a holiday (for me it's Thanksgiving), you can usually get a better rate several months before your travel dates. I had made a reservation three months before our trip and then cancelled it because we decided to use a towncar. I changed my mind again a month before we were to leave, and boy did the rates jump! Not just Budget's but everyones. I lived and I learned.
