For a 5 day rental, I went into the Budget system through Costco and was offered a full size for $131 for the rental period. I was also offered a coupon to turn in when we get the car for 1 day free. Is that true? Will they remove a fith of that price? Is the rate acceptable for Orlando, or should I be looking for a lot less?

Depending on your dates it may or may not be the best available rate. I booked my rental car for may 22-29, 2005. I received a rate on a full size vehicle of 108 plus tax. it came to a total of 146 for the week. Please note i booked this 2 months ago and have not seen that rate since.

i dont think you will have any problem using the coupon. look at the coupon and see if there are any exclusions. the only time i have experienced any problems with coupons is when the rental budget office is privately own . mco is a corporate site so i think you will be fine.

Mine is for January. I'll keep looking. Thanks!:D

I tried some other combinations of discounts and sites, and the rate seems to be the best I found for Budget. Thrifty was less overall though.
