Budget car return Disney Doubletree

I have a family member who is returning their rental car at the budget at the DoubleTree upon arrival in Disney. They are staying at Carribean beach. They are getting in at 7pm. Budget closes at 5.

Do they have to return it the next day? How do they do that without losing too much park time? Any tips on getting back to the hotel or to a park form there?

Any thoughts?
