Has anyone out there rented from Budget at MCO? In the past used Alamo and National, but found great rate on intermediate SUV at Budget (much less than Alamo/National btw.) Just wondering if anyone has comments - good, bad, or otherwise!

We've used them and they were ok. You can't pick your own car like Alamo but the guy did ask me which vehicle I preferred out of 2 or 3 that he named.

Yes, definitely would rather just walk out and pick my car from lot like you can at Alamo, but their rates are ridiculous right now. Booked w/ Budget "just in case" ya know? Gonna keep checking rates daily until December!! Thanks!

We used them without a problem last year. They had the best rate by far. We were given a choice of 2 different models of minivans. (can't remember what they were). Join their Fastbreak program and you can go right to the garage and skip the line in the airport.

Just picked up from them this past Sunday and no problems so far. I am a Fastbreak member so I was able to go to the garage. I was given the choice between a Town & Country minivan and a Nissan Quest. I took the T&C. We drop off on Saturday. Oh and we used the X474200 code with no questions asked.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I used that code but booked with Travelocity directly instead of Budget. I also attached my Fastbreak number to it hoping to make things go quicker.

Thanks everyone, looks like I will keep my ressie w/ Budget "for now!" One more question: regarding Fastbreak, I am not a member, but if I join, can I add it to my original res and therefore can go directly to lot??? Many thanks!

I'm going to be using Fastbreak for the first time this Saturday at MCO. Is the Fastbreak kiosk in the Terminal A garage or the Terminal B garage (or both)? I read in another thread that the kiosk is on the second floor of the garage. Is that still true?

We've only done DME in the past so this is a new experience for me!

Thanks! :)

They are on both sides. Budget is on the second floor of both A & B garage.

Thanks for the info. I guess that means I can pick the side that's best for me. I'll probably escort my family to DME and then head across the street to the B garage.

Thanks again!
