Budget car rental discount

I was able to drop my sun-fri car rental at Easter for an intermediate 4-door from $559 to $227 (before taxes) using the following code:

It was a code released in Seattle, WA but worked for me in NJ

not sure what kind but it does work. However, after using it I found an even better one here on the disboards. The BCD# is x474200 and if your rental is at least 7 days, you can also use mugz009 as a coupon code for an additional $30 off. we really like budget as we joined their fastbreak program so we bypass the airport lines and go directly to the kiosk.

I googled the code b/c it drops my already great Feb. rate down another $30! I found forums dating back to 2002 using the code. They all say Travelocity. I guess I could call Budget. I'm scared to use a code that I'm not sure about.

I did get a good rate for the MUG code...which is now MUG2029 but you have to pay in advance for this code, so I haven't booked it yet. I don"t like to pay the car in advance incase something happens with flights, trip cancellation etc....
