Budget Car Hire

Can any recent travellers confirm (or not!) that Budget now have a desk . and cars on-site at Sanford airport? I have heard various rumours that they are now on-site but no confirmation. We have booked a car from Budget via uscarrentals for July, based on the rumours, but I do not want to have to travel off-site to pick it up. Previously we have used Dollar and have been in and out of the desk within 20 mins or so and after a long flight I don't want any long waits to pick a car up.

I'm about 90% certain that they do.

We always go with Budget, because they got us out of the mess Alamo got us into travelling through the Carolinas.

EDIT: Sanford Airport site says Budget desk is off-site via shuttle, and Alamo, Avis, National, Dollar, Enterpise, Hertz and Thrifty on site. Hope this helps.

Hi,
we've booked a car from Budget through US rentacar, if you give them a call you can arrange to pick up your car from the Avis desk their sister company. The alternative is to get the shuttle bus to the Budget office off-site.
