I was doing laundry yesterday when I started hearing this high pitched buzz/squeek type of noise.
The machine was agitating, but had that high pitched noise.
I thought it was DH to begin with, but he said it was not him, and my son directed me to the washing machine.
:cringe:
It is like a guilty pleasure with a price tag.
I did not like our old washing machine at all. I purchased it second-hand about 4 or 5 years ago from a used appliance store for around $150. It did it's job just fine, but it didn't have a delicate cycle and just looked old. I have been waiting for it to die so that I can get a new one.
DH and I went shopping yesterday and found this beauty at Home Depot - it will turn out to be $402 (my budget was $500 max.) after hoses & tax. It won't be delivered until Friday so today I get to hoof it over to the laundromat and do a couple loads of laundry.

It got pretty good reviews too. I think it will be great. And the wonderful thing is that we didn't use the credit cards!!
We used some of our tax refund money that we put into the savings account. Yay!!
