Which are better: Golden Corral, Sizzler or other?? Do you know what the buffet prices are for the breakfasts??

Thanks!

We liked Ponderosa the best. I haven't been in a few years, but I think it was about 4.99. I think beverage was extra. There are two on Irlo Bronson. The one that is East of WDW actually has a salad bar during their breakfast.

I know this sounds crazy, but I could eat salad anytime of the day so this was a big plus for me!

We always do breakfast in our room. It is easier when we have a suite/condo/house, but even in a regular hotel we do it. OJ, milk, cereal, pop-tarts, granola bars, etc. Spending $4.99/person plus beverages and tax and tip is a waste to us. Plus, we like to get an early start and be at the parks at rope drop. Going out to eat just sucks up too much time and money.

We mostly ate in our condo, but we did have breakfast at Ponderosa twice. We really enjoyed Ponderosa, though the first one we went to was crazy busy. The second time we went to one on I Drive on the way to the WDW outlet stores, and that one wasn't crowded at all. It's about $5, drinks are extra. We found that on days we were starting later, we could have a huge breakfast buffet and then we were fine until late afternoon, so we'd eat an early dinner around 3:30 or 4. The days we went to the parks for 8:00 we ate in the condo. We like going out for breakfast, but here, the cheapest buffet is $8, most menu items running $4-8, depending on what you get. So going to Ponderosa in the WDW area is a nice treat!

We like the Golden Corral, The one on 535 is the best. I don't remember the price, We usually get coupons. You can get them from a number of places. like the walmarts, they have coupon books at the entrance to the store, also golden corral has them

We like Golden Corral too. Only for days when we don't have anywhere to be early. I'm sorry I don't know the prices, but there are often coupons in the tourist flyers.

I have to watch my blood sugar, so we can't do granola bars & stuff like steve. The kids are ok with cereal in the room, but I just crash. A condo is the best thing for us, but I've stocked a room fridge with cheese and other things that keep me steady until lunch.

I LOVE Golden Corral and we finally have them in our area in Arizona. :cool1: However I haven't had the breakfast though I'm sure its good.

I miss Ponderosa and Shoneys. We had Shoneys but they've all closed is that nationwide thing I wonder...

Denny's has pretty affordable breakfast and they have free days for kiddos.

Perkin's is pretty good too. :)
