Budget Birthday Gifts at Kohl's!

I had an awesome experience at Kohl's yesterday, and I just had to share it with my fellow budget boarders!

They had a sale on all toys and books, buy one, get one 50% off. Then I had a coupon for $10 off my $10 purchase. Then, by some miracle, I got the 30% off coupon. I was able to use all those deals to my advantage and get two gifts for my son's first birthday (coming up at the end of this month) for under $10!!!

I was so excited. I got him this cute toy, and a set of Disney Mickey board books. A toy, and 12 board books for a little over $7. Who'd thunk it? Yay for Kohl's!

That's probably about as close as I'll get to an extreme couponing moment.

So excited that we are finally getting a Kohls here! Should be open by Black Friday 2012. I am so excited. We have tons in the surrounding counties, but none within 45 minutes so I can't wait!

I actually do a lot of online shopping at Kohl's, but that $10 of a $10 purchase was too good to pass up. Hopefully they'll be doing some things like that in your area, and keep an eye open for grand opening stuff, too. You never know what kind of lovely deals you might be able to score!
