I am planning a bachelorette party for my bestest friend :bride: in Atlantic City in June 2010. I am the only person in the bridal party, so I need as many budget minded ideas as possible.

I've worked a connection for a room in Caesar's - for FREE!!!
Where should we eat dinner?
Are there any fun shows we should see?
Should we go to a club/pub?
Is there anything else fun we should do?

The bride is more of the type for live entertainment at a pub. Are there any websites that are great for bacheloretty memorabilia and chotchkes?

TIA

Check out the Pier at Caesars - they have a bunch of good restaurants. I know they have a Conntinental, Budakahn and a few others (sorry I can't spell today).

Have fun!

There's a nice pub in the Tropicana. I think?? Details from my last trip are all very fuzzy LOL. ;)

The center casino bar in Harrah's is alot of fun. If you have never signed up for total rewards do so there. You will get a coupon book for BOGO buffet there and it is quite good. I also think there is at least one free drink coupon in that book. Again this is Harrahs in the Marina. The Pool at Harrahs is a pretty hot club there also. Everyone has thier preferrnce in AC but I always make my way back to the Marina everytime. I'm not sure what offers are current but I took a friend there a few months back and they were still giving out the books.

My parents just actually left to go to the trop a few hours ago.

yeah there is. I can't remember the name of it right now, but i was told it was a chain but it didn't feel like one. Ate dinner there and really enjoyed it. I'm a pub type of girl myself.

In june, the weather will be nice so you might be able to just hang out on the boardwalk and the beach so that could totally fill up some time.

I'm in the midst of bacherlorette party planning myself...good luck with it!!

wow, had to search for this post- wanted to reply yesterday but didn't have time..

Ok, you got the room for Free that was a big thing!! Drinks are pretty expensive in A/C bars/clubs.. so my suggestion is bring some stuff with you and have a little party in the room prior to going out (will save you tons on drinks) as far as shows go, check www.harrahs.com or ticketmaster to see what's around that night/weekend you are going - Also check House of blues because they have shows geared to younger audiences. The beach bars should all be open in June, they have live bands, but be warned- drinks are expensive & they are CROWDED!! Harrah's pool has a great party, but you will have to take a cab over from Caesars, get there early it gets mobbed.... Have a great time, we go to a/c once a month (stay at Caesars) I see bachelorette party's all the time - I'll wonder if each one in June is you!!!

Do you live driving distance to AC? AC I find to be a little depressing. If you are flying you may want to look into Vegas specials.

Yes we all live close to Atlantic City. I do not find AC depressing at all, so we will definitely be visiting AC and not Vegas.

Thanks for the information! I will check out House of Blues definitely and a party in the room with all the bachelorette goodies is a great place to start!

I would go to the Trop for dinner. You could eat at Carmine's which is very budget friendly if you have a group. You could also eat at PF Changs or the Irish Pub - Ri Ra.

Also, if anyone is new to the casino, have them fill out the paperwork for a players card. They will give you a coupon book for free drinks etc....

Have fun.
