Budget at the port after the cruise

Hello,

We are thinking of doing a one day rental from Budget at the port to WDW after the cruise. (Wonder 4 day) arriving back on a Thursday

Has anyone done this in the past? My main concern is that they will not have a car for us when we get off the cruise. Do they guarantee you a vehicle?

Any other issues that people have experienced, good or bad?

I don't know if they guarantee the vehicle, but I've never had a problem. However, they don't have a gas pump at the port location, so you probably won't get a full tank of gas to start. Make sure they document the exact level or the airport will try to make you pay an exhorbitant fuel charge. I am so anal that I even take a digital photo of the gas gauge at Port Canaveral!

Ive used Avis at the Radission Port, and have not had a problem. If you reserve online (same goes with Budget) they have to reserve you a car.

I just booked a one day rental after our cruise.

They have a Budget drop off at the Double Tree near Downtown Disney. Called direct and they will shuttle us to WL.
