When using the WDWinfo Discount rate code Y937800, do I need any provide any credentials proving that I am eligible to use this rate? Also, any good or bad reviews from this location? Thanks in advance :)

We rented a mid-sized SUV from Budget for our Christmas Week 2012 vacation. That was our first and last Budget experience.

The vehicle we were given was high mileage, well worn and marked up, and had a smell inside that we thought would dissipate once the windows were opened. In addition to the "odour" (which I am 100% sure was cigarette smoke) there was a chemical smell as if they had used something to mask the smoking stench. Even with the windows down, the smell persisted. And every time we were inside that vehicle, my DS had an allergic reaction that resulted in breathing issues......bad enough in the later stages of our holiday that I thought we'd need to take him to an emergency clinic.

I received a survey from Budget upon returning home which I completed honestly (brutally so). This resulted in an emaila apology from the manager. I can only hope they took that vehicle out of circulation, and that the condition of that truck is not indicative of the norm for Budget.

Unfortunately, I can't help with your code....we used X474200, the Travelocity public code. Good rate, poor vehicle!

We used that code on our last trip and didn't have to show anything. And if you can pick up from the DTD Doubletree location, it will save you a lot more.
We did drop off at MCO and it was quick and easy.

thank you for your responses. I noticed some bad reviews after booking, had looked prior but missed some. Hoping I didn't make a mistake.

We rented from Budget at MCO last July (2012). It was a nightmare! We were supposed to get a midsized SUV and they ran out of them! It was pretty much so sorry, so sad, too bad... They even tried to get one from the other rental company they own (Alamo, maybe?) but there was none to be had. The problem was We didn't have a choice we NEEDED a vehicle of the size to carry our passengers, our luggage, and my ECV! It took us 2 and 1/2 hours to get a satisfactory resolution. Nope, won't use them again from the airport... It was awful. The counterservice was super slow and they just didn't seem to care about our problem. It wasn't like we could just leave our luggage at the airport! And we weren't going to WDW. If we had been, problem would have been easy enough to fix, send one of us on ME with the luggage and my ECV and the other drive the vehicle over. But that wasn't our destination. Good Luck with your decision as to who to rent from. I always sweat bullet unless it's Enterprise. Knock on wood, I've never had an issue with my rentals from them. :goodvibes

we actually prefer budget. we get let hassling there. Maybe we just luck out. But my experience with them, has been fast than the others, and cleaner for that matter. We have dollar booked for our next trip. Not sure if how I feel about it, but they are by far the cheapest.
