Since DBF and I have taken 2 trips within the past 4 months and although we had a blast, I have decided to create a 'bucket list' of things so our adult trips remain fun and spontaneous!! I will also include a couple of things to do when the kids come along so I dont sound and feel so selfish!

Here is mine - so far...what is your list? I am sure we can prompt eachother to try new things!!

~Cali Grille (I have been once but he has not)
~tour Grand Floridian (and do the afternoon tea with the step-Princess)
~horseback riding at FW
~miniature golf
~do the waterparks (with the kids during family trip)
~horse and carriage ride around PO
~Jellyrolls
~Atlantic Dance
~FW segway tour (we did the EPCOT one and loved it)
~Wild Africa Trek and Backstage Safari
~Characters in Flight hot air balloon ride
~Cirque du Soleil (I have seen once but he has not)
~RP Driving Experience (for DBF and son)
~take golf lessons (we would love to try playng)

I know there is some I am missing - can you all help me out? And yes, I am withdrawaling as I just got back and since I cant book my next trip yet I want to at least pretend.

Add ons since start of thread:

~DCL
~ V&A
~THV
~Ohana's
~Surrey Bikes
~Jet skis on Bay Lake
~tour Celebration (and make my list of why we should move there!) ;)

Rent a surrey bike at the boardwalk [NOT at Wilderness Lodge]
Take a boat out on Bay Lake
Go parasailing on Bay Lake
Watch a movie on the beach at Beach Club
Eat a fabulous Steak at Yachtsman Steakhouse!
Go to Ohana! for dinner.

- Go in December and take in ALL of the Christmas decorations...especially at the resorts.

- Tour Celebration (and maybe find the DVC offices, so I know where they are).

- Go to Star Wars weekend to see what that is all about.

- Rent the private yacht that sails on the Seven Seas Lagoon for dinner/fireworks.

- Watch/participate in the flag retreat ceremony at MK.

I may think of more I'd like to do.

I would love to try parasailing!! I think it would take my DBF a bit to get up there but I think it would be awesome! And we had a reservation at Ohana once but we couldnt make it so I had to cancel it. :( So I guess Ohana goes back on my list too!! ;)

we normally dont rent a car while there, but we have been discussing doing it this next time just for food shopping and maybe a trip to Sea World and if we do, I would LOVE to tour Celebration! I would have to beware though that it doesnt make us want to move!! :rotfl:

Doing F&W is at the top of my Disney Bucket List, hoping for a girls trip in 2012!

Eating at Victoria and Alberts

Staying in the THV

Also like to watch/partipate in flag ceremony at MK

Parasailing

Waiting for DD to turn 16 to do some of the tours that require that minimum age

A Disney trip for just my hubby and self, haven't done that since the kids were born....17 years ago! (My dream would be 5 days WDW then 5 days DLR)

I am sure there are so many more, I just can't think of them all.

BTW fun thread Heathers4um, thanks. :goodvibes

Thanks!! :goodvibes

I went to my first F&W last November for my 40th birthday and we had such a blast! Dont try to do what we did though and see (ie, eat and drink) everything in one day!

I would be lying if I said it wasnt worth it!:yay:

And we also did the Around the World segway tour in EPCOT that same trip - you HAVE to do it! It was so much fun!

My bucket list:
Take a cruise (I have done seven so far and want to do Europe, Alaska, and maybe Asia when DCL goes there)
Take an ABD trip (Italy, Mid-Atlantic, Grand Canyon)
Do an around the world tour of all Disney Parks (France, Hong Kong, Japan (God help them right now), Hawaii, DL, WDW)

Just chatting with DW about my List...alot of the same items on mine as well.
Seems whenever I mark one off two come to mind and yet I can't even complain about that:thumbsup2. Shawnpirate:

I would love to take a Disney cruise - I have only been on one cruise in my whole life and it was when I was in college. We went to the Bahamas on Carnival. I have to convince the man to do that!!

I'm with you!! I just added a few things just from this thread and havent had the chance to cross anything off yet! But so goes the Disney addiction! :thumbsup2

I better keep this list in my Blackberry so I always have it with me!! :rotfl:

Bread service and a drink at the bar in sanaa in kidani village. You do not need reservations just go to the desk state your going to the bar and they will let you right through. My wife and i Use it as a lunch nice and relaxing.

I don't know if this has been suggested already, but how about surf lessons at Typhoon Lagoon or the driving experience at the Speedway?

I have wanted to have a drink at the Dawa bar in AK, and it has never worked out.
Stay at THV
Dine at V&A
Watch Off Kilter and other Epcot shows
Go to F&W on a weekday
Disney Cruise
Disney park outside the USA

I second the surf experience at TL! DH and I did it for our 10year anniversary and it was sooo much fun!!!

I dont know how in to video games you are but a favorite of ours is Disney Quest without children!!!! when we do this we can have fun in "retro land" and not be chasing around the kids/watching them!

Jellyrolls is a good one for you two. Renting the little water boats at contemporary (NOT at BW/BC or on any river..........they are set to go sllloooooow) and go for a ride all around the lagoon!!

Not only rent a boat on Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, rent Sea Racers (sometimes call Mouse Racers) for everybody in the group. The kids will have to be 12.

Rent a pontoon boat, do an illuminations cruise at Epcot and a fireworks cruise at MK, do a pirates cruise at CR if the kids are young enough. And dine for a very special occasion at Victoria and Alberts. Do one of the safaris at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Sunset or Wanyama Safaris and the Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom.
