Cape Cod the second time around
The day started out at 4:30 a.m , when I called Dan to make sure he was up, I picked him up and we were on our way to Buffalo where we picked up2 of the travellers and also brought 1 with us from Dan's house . We had 2 pick up stops en route and this time traffic was no problem and we made good time . Again we stopped at Cracker Barrell for supper

After a delicious meal we relaxed for a minute on the porch and tried out the Rocking chairs

Notice the guy who is peering at the girl .. This was our character as you will hear as this continues .
On the road again , Mark ( the character) continued what was to become quite the joke of the trip. He would lean forward and tap Dan on the shoulder and hold up 4 fingers and point to the radio , we would press the number 4 on the channel selector and a few minutes later he would hold up the same 4 fingers and point again. We would try to explain that the van did NOT have the same preselected stations AND we were in a different area . That didn't seem to get thru to him. Then he would sign "WORK" and we would say not todayBefore the end of the trip the others were answering him too

We arrived at the hoptel at 7pm and were soon in our rooms and settled in !!!Stay tuned for day 2 !!!

Up early on Day 2 as we had a scheduled session at The Natural History Museum in Brewster, about 1/2 hour away !! We arrived in good time and had time to do the walking tour before our session

The it was time to head back for our session.

The session was very informative, the Title was "Do Whales have belly buttons ?'
We learned about the differnt types of whales and how some had teeth but many didn't they have sieve type, but hard things that the filter the food through.
, they even passed round a couple for us to look at!!Our guys had lots of questions and most of them were good questions , by the end we knew the answer .. Do you???????

They are such a cute group, Rosie!! I am not usually a fan of Cracker Barrel, but those pics make me hungry!!

We are staying in Brewster at a B&B for 3 ngts in November - hope to take that Salt Marsh walk...

I'm here but working extra hours to make up for being away and having no vacation time! Stay tuned for colonial wooden spoons and Rosie's native american pole dancing!

Yes Dan was an instigator on this trip !!I as usual was sweet and innocent

As Dan knows I have had the State Auditors in this week so life has been very hectic . They check EVERYTHING !!!!But we had a good audit !! At the end they do what they call an EXIT Interview !! Well Judy called just as I was going in for it and I told her , she said call her back and when I did she thought I was being FIRED!!!
I am gonna try to get all the pix developed tomorrow morning to make the scrapbooks and hope to upload all Dan's pix too so I should get down to some serious FUN this weekend , I had lunch with Carol today and she was doubled up laughing at the stories I had to tell ....SOOOOOO stay tuned !!

You may well have done !!! The auditors are really nice, they have a job to do and the few things we were cited on were in need !!! Really only 2 that were directly the House/Staff/ Me!!! They complimented the Dynamics of the staff and the individuals , found nothing wrong with the physical plant ( House was clean and nothing broken) Of course I tipped Dan off to anything that might be cited as his house , gotta take care of My Dis Buddy!!!

After the Museum we took the advice of a staff member there and went to Grumpy's for lunch, now after me checking out availablity , the Greeter seemed to fit the name, but we were all seated and the waitressess were awesome
The food was voted the best of trip by Dan and me , here is a sampling

So with full bellies we headed to our next stop the fascinating and informative Potato Chip Factory tour , Dan I beleive has some banned pix to show you of this exciting tour

But here is the Group outside before we went in and left within 20 minutes including 18 mins in the gift shop

Not wishing to tax PB I am doing short updates

Dan wanted to eat outside by the water so we of course humored him , personally I think he had an in with something , anywho we found a waterfront restaurant called Spanky's a, by the water

Here they are waiting for their food . I also was waiting for my food but Dan's secret weopon was about to drop on me


Some say it is Good Luck , I did not feel LUCKY!!!!

Yuck!!! Hate when that happens!! At least it didn't hit any clothing!
Having lived in Boston for many years, I was really lucky it only happened once...but was on the way to work, waiting for the bus... it landed directly on my chest. Luckily, I am always so early for everything, that I had time to go home, change, catch another bus and still get to work on time.
