BTMRR refurb?

I swear I recently read that BTMRR will close for refurb this summer (at least in June when we are going). I just read refurb lists from a few sites and it isn't listed. Can anyone verify?

That is odd. Touringplans is still showing it closed 4/4-7/16. Allears was also showing it closed but now I don't see it. I so hope they will change their minds. My DS19 missed it on his last trip in 2012 and we will be back this June. It's one of his favorite rides.

Yea I was thinking the same thing...They recently ( last 15 months or so ) did an extensive refurb...Didn't they?

Yes, they did, so this is definitely surprising and disappointing to hear.

Shows a closure here. We are going in May and I planned around it being closed. Hope I'm wrong.

If they do close it, I hope they do whatever they did at disneyland to make the ride smoother. DH and I were shocked at how much smoother the ride was in DL. DH will only ride it once at WDW because it tosses him around too much. We could ride it all day at DL. It made the experience so much better

They should make it more like the DL version. It is so much better with a smoother ride and the projection mapping effects. I'd love to see it.
