The DLR portal has been updated: http://media.disneywebcontent.com/S...c/pdf/D-MailPDF/IntlDmailDLRefurbishments.pdf They have October 2012 listed, but I am pretty sure they meant 2013.

Jan. 7 Feb. 14, 2013: Fantasmic! will be closed for refurbishment.
Jan. 7 March 28, 2013: Mark Twain Riverboat will be closed for refurbishment.
Jan. 7 March 28, 2013: Pioneer Mercantile will be closed for refurbishment.
Jan. 7 Oct. 30, 2012: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be closed for refurbishment.

More listed for DCA...

My heart jumped a bit when I saw Fantasmic on there... we're going the last week in February though so we dodged a bullet there.

There are other new extended closures that aren't on that list, including Grizzly River Run and Silly Symphony Swings

The DIS has been updated here.

That's unfortunate. My DD7 was looking forward to both of those. 4 attractions down so far (BTMRR, F!, GRR, SSS) for our late January trip.

And there are other things that aren't on THAT link, which is why I posted a link to The DIS refurb page.

I'm confused...The Disney Media link seems to have the same info and more listed then the Dis Refurb page. What am I missing?
I'm not trying to get into a "my link is better than yours" debate...just trying to post information that I find important.

My apologies. I didn't scroll to the second page.

Bummer. We will miss out on GRR.

Oh well.

At least we will be in Disney!!

You should also probably expect IASW to be down for the removal of the overlay (didn't see it, it usually happens right after HM.)

Wouldn't Fantasmic be down as long as the Mark Twain is?

I can guaranDAMNtee all of you the only reason the stuff is closed is because
I WILL BE THERE IN JANUARY. During the worst of it. :scared1:
:headache::headache::badpc::badpc::badpc:

Instead of the World, I opted for the Land. See what happens?

You can blame me. ::yes::

it must be because of your avatar logo !;)

Excellent, we'll have to move our trip up to early February (from late February) so we can finally enjoy the Rivers of America and New Orleans Square at night like it used to be... atmospheric, beautiful, and quiet, and not a mob scene.

Apparently I am never supposed to see Fantasmic:confused3. The ROA was drained when we were there 3 years ago....sigh....

I'm bummed that F! will be down on our trip in February. It'll be my Aunt's first trip to DLR in about 40 years. :-(

It's Disneyland's automated anti Yankees fan defenses. Close this!!! Close that!!! Close everything!!!!!

It is OKAY for you all to tease me here. :grouphug:

Been that kind of week, you know? :rolleyes1

I was born and raised in RedSoxNation. Watched mom and everyone cry year in and year out. Been a pinstripe bleeder for nearly all my days.

The nice thing is, since I missed HM at our First Trip in Sept, I finally get to see it. :thumbsup2

By the way, all you DLR diehard lifers---- :3dglasses YOUR POC is the best- my DH and I just wanted to spend hours there. pirate:pirate:pirate:pirate:pirate:pirate:pirate:
