BRV vs CCV?

Well, I've only ever stayed at BRV. But I like that it's a separate building because it was really quiet. The walkway to the buses to was covered and didn't take long. The walk to the boat was a bit farther but it was a pleasant walk with nice scenery.

I really like the decor and the look of the rooms at BRV. Based on photos, CCV seem a bit "blah" to me.

At BRV, they don't have the massive, grand lobby. It's smaller but still cute. And there's a room off to the side that has a fireplace and chairs and whatnot. It's very cozy.

Staying at either, you can obviously still enjoy visiting the big lobby. And you can use both pools as well.
The photos of CCV are the reality (actually i thought the rooms were more bland in person). I am so excited for the cute themeing of BRV and I hope CCV gets some cute themeing in their upcoming refurb!

We love Wilderness Lodge and fell in love with Boulder Ridge!

That little covered walkway at night all lighted up with music playing just feels like home to me.

What we like about Copper Creek is it being attached to the Lodge - have been lucky to get a room that overlooked the lobby and that was so nice to walk out of the room and enjoy the lobby view.

I love the walk back to BRV from the boat on our MK evenings. The little boardwalk areas surrounded by the trees are so great. And then when we walk back from the bus after visiting the other parks, the covered walkway there is great and it leads into the little BRV "lobby" that is alway so peaceful. It's truly a great place.

It's like a more rustic, less hectic Grand Californian.

I don't know why CCV fills up faster, honestly. Maybe just because it's in the "main" building and the lobby holds such appeal to people?

I think we should have purchased CCV points for the longer expiration and just booked BRV at 7 months. But when we purchased, we thought we'd stick with studios (HA!) and we didn't think we'd have as many points so we wanted 11-month priority. But now that we're thinking 1 or even 2 bedrooms for trips...we probably would have been fine booking at 7-months.

Its crazy, just wide open availability, I book and then its still available
Same here and I wondered too why ccv is so much more popular, but it really must boil down to the location as insignificant as that seems.

CCV is a very attractive contract with low mf and lots of time left, i may even consider if ssr doesn't pass rofr as my SAP and staying there during winter

Have.you guys ever stayed at the cabins? Would love to hear what that's like!
Almost, the no washer and dryer got me to cancel in the end.
