I'm taking my daughters on a "girls only" trip next October. I will book our home resort (AKV) at 11 months, but I would like to try for a preferred studio at BWV at 7 months (dreaming, I know....) So, as a back-up, we'd love to change it up a bit and try a resort that we've never stayed at. I will have 88 points to use over the 5 nights (all weeknights) and I'm open to doing a 2/3 split-stay. The girls will be 15 and 13 and we are planning on doing a lot at Epcot since they have learned to love the F&W Festival.
Our second choice is either BRV or CCV, but I need a little clarification. Is there one that is preferred over the other? I look at them like Kidani and Jambo, except I am not sure I am clear of the differences. I know that BRV is the original DVC building at the WL, formerly known as the WLV, and I also know that CCV is the newly-converted rooms in the main Wilderness Lodge. Other than that, what is the main differences in the studios? What floor(s) are the DVC rooms on at CCV? Do just the BRV studios have the extra pull-down bed, or is there 3 sleeping spaces at CCV too? The girls typically share a bed, but they would be ecstatic if they could have their own. What about transportation? Will it all be the same, or will there be different buses and bus stops? We will spend a lot of time at Epcot and the Animal Kingdom so we will be using the buses.
If I can't get a BWV preferred studio at 7 months (which I plan to wait list, but not holding my breath), then I would like to try one of these two. If neither is available, then I will put in a wait list, but which one?
